Robinsons Brewery Visitor Centre
May 24, 2013

Stockport is famous for its Viaduct, the Pyramid, Fred Perry and of course, Robinsons Brewery.   To celebrate Robinsons 175th Anniversary they launched their new Visitor Centre, designed as a space to learn about the history and heritage of the brewery. The centre offers a chance to delve into the brewing process and learn about how they make the beer, visit the Shire Horses, create your perfect pub guide, explore some vintage gems and even buy beer related gifts.  They also offer a tour of the Brewery, for small fee, to learn even more about how the unique Robinsons taste is produced, providing both an educating and entertaining experience, with a chance to even sample some of the products.

As well as a great place to learn about the heritage of the company the visitor centre is also a fantastic space for events. With two rooms available, aptly named, the Old Tom room and the Unicorn room.  From corporate conferences to private dining, each room can offer a great space stylishly designed.  The Old Tom room can hold up to 60 guests in theatre style and 72 for a banquet, whilst the Unicorn room can hold up to 58 guests theatre style and 90 banqueting style.  Rooms also contain audio visual equipment and high speed free wireless internet.

As a venue, the Visitor Centre can accommodate over 200 delegates for a drinks reception

All of the catering is also sourced locally and made on-site, with an extensive menu available with many dishes receiving a Robinson’s twist with the inclusion of some of their most famous drinks, such as ‘Old Tom’ chutney and Pork Pies with ‘Unicorn Ale’.

Robinsons Visitor Centre is a hidden gem in Stockport, offering a fantastic starting day delegate rate of £19.75.  All in all, the centre is a stylish and pleasant space for any event.
